Jim was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. He graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Jim moved to Houston in 2007 to attend South Texas College of Law, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2010.
While at South Texas College of Law, Jim was a Varsity Moot Court Advocate, winning a National Championship and a Best Brief Award. Additionally, he was a member of the South Texas Law Review and served as the Senior Langdell Scholar, tutoring first-year students on Saturday afternoons. Jim made Dean's List all six semester of law school and graduated sixth in his class.
Jim began working for the firm as a Summer Associate in the summer of 2009, and rejoined the firm as an Associate after graduating from South Texas.
